He arrives 30 minutes late to the interview, dressed in vintage army pants, a ripped t-shirt and bold, messy makeup. He describes his style as “streetwear meets a hooker with an element of nostalgia but contemporary elegance.”
“Climbing is the first place that I’ve ever felt comfortable with my body. It just became a really important part of my life and keeps me mentally sane,” says trans athlete Max Branagan.
Calling Alexandra Holker busy is an understatement. “Now when I list everything I do, I think gosh it is quite a lot,” Holker says, laughing as if realising this for the first time.
